Rip Off

I sat for two hours listening to their spiel. I was promised two airline tickets, two nights and three days at a major hotel/motel, $300 in food credits, and a $50 VISA card. I filled out and scanned the form they gave me and sent it to VIP. I received an email in return confirming that they received it and I would be receiving my tickets and vouchers within 14 business days. I have not received anything further from this company. The took my postcard with the information so I cannot even call the company.

This person experienced the same as we did. We scan the completed form and received a confirmation of receipt 2 days later.

That was August 31,2019. To date we have not received any of the promised benefits or any other correspondence from this company. No phone number or address was on the documentation given us at the time of the presentation. I guess the old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" is true.

Makes me wonder if the couple that jumped on the "special price" so soon was part of the scam.

Glad we didn't buy into this bogus company 2 hours personal time, promise of airfare for 2, three nights, 2 nights hotel accommodations, $300 restaurant, and a $50.00 Visa gift card at least we left with our shirts. Lesson learned.

If you start receiving mail or email or even phone calls from other travel outfits you will know that VIP sold your info to other travel-related outfits who will also re-sell it, on and on. As for the promised freebies, "ain't nothing in this world for free"---really.

Someone has to pay for it and VIP probably doesn't want to do so. This is how we learn.

I am extremely upset with the lack of customer support I have received after trying to cancel a much needed vacation due to scheduling of a major surgery. Our trip was planned for 7/5 - 7/9/18 at the Berkeley in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, a surgery I needed was scheduled 7/10/18. I texted the person I had been in contact with over about 6 months directing not to process my payment because I would not be able to make my trip. Unfortunately, my request was not honored. Why keep my hard earned money for a stay I cancelled 7 days in advance. I have worked as an office supervisor for Ashley Furniture Homestore for 15 + years and customer service is my specialty. What I got from Suzy, the representative lacking customer service skills, was anything but supportive. I have hospital documentation, bank statements causing financial problems and text messages dated and time stamped. I was told that since I called after hours....too bad....my money will not be returned. I am hoping to get my refund issue taken care of by a true customer service representative. I am trluly rewarded when I can resolve problems for our customers and I have high reviews to show it. I'll be patiently waiting for a response.

which VIP Vacations are you posting about? I think you should put the address and full name of the company...there are a ton of Book VIP, VIP travel ,etc.

This company almost ruined our destination wedding and thieved $2k from us in the end. Jennifer was very involved up front then she passes you off to less experienced staff. She rushed us into putting down a deposit or "losing" the day we wanted for our wedding. We went down to visit the resort and the beach was so rocky you couldn't go in the ocean without shoes on. Next, all of the beach spots for the ceremony were already booked and they were going to put us inside which was a holiday inn type conference room. It was a total bait and switch compared to the brochures she sent us. Like I said above, we only got half of our deposit back after cancelling everything. Please read other reviews and ignore whatever you read on "The Knot." It wouldn't allow me to post my review there.

V.I.P. Travel in Whitehall Pa -- Bad experience!

This is great customer service??? On what planet? This is a terrible company and the owner, Jennifer. is the worst customer relations person I've ever enountered! She is snotty, rude, very argumentative, inefficient and unbelievably unprofessional. Calling themselves V.I.P. is a bad joke, the customer service is sub-standard at best. Inefficient and definitely NOT HELPFUL -- what an absolutely horrible experience we had. Jennifer did nothing but make the whole thing very stressful, we'd have been better off not using any agency at all. Personally, I would like to see V.I.P. -- R.I.P.

This company is a scam they take your money and never get back with you on any information on your trip the costumer service is the worst...I advise no one to book or make any deals with this company it's a rip off....

Faxed cruise offers are a scam!

On November 4,2011 my friend and I, who work at different offices, received a cruise and airfare offer for $249.00 per person. We talked to the salesman who assured us we would be able to travel on April 4,2011 on carnival Fascination. We sent them $1,100.00 from my friends bank account. On Nov.16 we received a packet with vouchers in it. We sent them back and once again received another voucher. We sent that voucher along with another payment. Once again nothing but another voucher. We now realize we will not be able to travel on the promised date. Of course they at VIP Vacations now know nothing about us or our cruise. They just pass the buck elsewhere. Do not buy a cruise on a faxed offer.

which company are you reviewing...please specify???? I was scammed by a time share company and I contacted VIP...only to find out, I wasn't scammed by the VIP you are reviewing. That is very irresponsible to review a good company and smear their name because you can't list the correct full name of the company you are reviewing!
